The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express is made up of original art deco carriages, restored to their 1920 and 30’s grandeur. It is the definition of contemporary nostalgia and culture. The Venice to Paris route starts from Venice, then the train passes Verona, crossing the Adige river and into Bolzano, the foothills of the Dolomites. Crops and vines grow in the fields around the tracks where the valley opens out. Mountains close up around the tracks offering beautiful views as the train continues on to Brenner.
